VINITALY USA
2024

The first edition of Vinitaly.USA took place at Navy Pier in Chicago on October 20–21, 2024, marking the official debut of the historic Italian wine fair in the United States. Organized by Veronafiere – Vinitaly in collaboration with Fiere Italiane, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), and the Italian American Chamber of Commerce Midwest, the event represented a strategic milestone in the international promotion of Italian wine and a significant step in expanding the presence of Made in Italy in the North American market.

Over the course of two days, Vinitaly.USA 2024 brought together 230 Italian wineries and consortia, presenting 1,650 wine labels to more than 1,500 accredited American buyers and professionals from the trade and hospitality sectors. The exhibition space, covering more than 13,000 square meters inside Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, hosted tastings, masterclasses, and structured business-to-business meetings designed to connect Italian producers with importers, distributors, and decision-makers across the United States.

Throughout the two-day program, Vinitaly.USA offered numerous opportunities for tasting and networking, combining professional exchanges with cultural and educational initiatives aimed at deepening knowledge of Italian wine. Producers from every region of Italy had the opportunity to meet buyers from across the American market in a setting that reflected both the prestige and the innovative spirit of the Vinitaly brand.

The 2024 edition of Vinitaly.USA concluded with strong participation and positive feedback from exhibitors and buyers alike, confirming Chicago as a strategic hub for the development of Italian wine in the United States. The success of the debut laid the foundation for future editions, strengthening the collaboration among Veronafiere, ITA, and Fiere Italiane, and positioning Vinitaly.USA as a key international platform dedicated to promoting Italian excellence, building business relationships, and enhancing the global identity of Italian wine.
